Blue Knights Ascend To Taiwan

The Blue Knights have been offered an unprecedented opportunity — the chance to take a 50 person ensemble to Taiwan to participate in educational clinics, a parade, and a staged performance. The centerpiece of this will be an exhibition at the Taoyuan Band Festival on Saturday, May 24th. This provides Ascend Performing Arts, the umbrella organization of the Blue Knights’ programs, a unique chance to showcase its various programs. The trip is scheduled for late May, which makes it impossible for the drum corps to participate, so a very talented team has been organized from members of the other Ascend programs.
