The Company Used For FA Cup Final

We got the news about the opportunity to play at the FA cup final between Arsenal and Hull a few weeks before the event. After quickly rounding up 12 willing and free drummers from around the country and were told to be at the London soccer dome, on Thursday the 8th of May. The night before, the “northerners” met at the CO headquarters to fit drums, learn music and get a good sleep before the 5AM start the next day.

After a fairly easy drive down, we arrived and unloaded drums and met our southern colleagues. We met with the choreography team and had a quick rehearsal to incorporate some visuals and bring the southerners up to speed with the previous evenings work. Soon, we were taken onto the pitch and were shown our movement and how everything would be on the day. We rehearsed for several hours before a few full runs of our performance and then we packed down and went our separate ways till the following Thursday.
