Danskin Presented With Director’s Award

Rosalie Danskin, office manager for Ascend Performing Arts, received the Director’s Award for outstanding service at the preview show this past Saturday the 14th. Executive Director Mark Arnold and board of directors President Ken Adams were on hand to present the award to Rosalie along with the Blue Knights drum majors CJ Garcia, Myles Giller, Aaron Bradford and horn sergeant Alex Factor.

Rosalie has been working for Ascend and the Blue Knights for 20 years–an invaluable asset to the team, she is responsible for camp registrations, member finances, most all the paperwork that comes in or out of the office–all the nuts and bolts of keeping a world-class drum corps moving, as well as a world finalist percussion ensemble. She accomplishes all this with a smile on her face, and still finds time to keep Mark in line, which may be the hardest job of all!
