It’s Show Day For 2014 Carolina Crown

The first two days day of DCI tour 2014 are in the books. For the first time in several weeks, we rehearsed on green grass and turf and not dirt! And, today is show day number one!

Yesterday we arrived in Avon, Ind. to rehearse at Avon High School where our Brass Caption Supervisor, Matt Harloff, teaches. Other than being pretty windy and almost getting knocked off of our podiums, the day was perfect. Even the guard was able to handle the wind with no problems. We worked on getting off and on the field, learned some new drill sets(you have to watch the show on the Fan Network tonight to see), and cleaned up the timing in the beginning and end of the closer.
