TheBlue Knights Host Educational Clinic For High School Bands

The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps hosted an educational clinic for band students around the Western Slope on Monday.

The Blue Knights are composed of a 150 students from all around the world who compete each summer internationally.

Around 200 high school students attended the clinic for hands-on experience on marching and playing as an ensemble.

“The Blue Knights are one of the best in the nation. They’re just absolutely top notch. So for the high school students to be able to experience what it is and what they do is really going to be an eye opening experience for them,” Said Dr. Jonathan Hinkle, director of athletic band at Colorado Mesa University.
