An internationally-recognized drum corps is headed to Missouri after spending Sunday practicing in Hastings.

Santa Clara Vanguard used Hastings College to practice on their way from a performance in Denver.

The group of 150 performers and about 30 support staff have come through the area the past few years.

They say that’s because the college has nice facilities and friendly people between performance locations.
