In The News: Visiting Drum Corps Extends Its Stay At Wethersfield

The Colts of Dubuque are apparently extending their stay next week at Wethersfield High School from one day to three.
In appreciation, the 135-member, Iowa-based drum and bugle corps promises to present their entire show for the community before they leave.

Wethersfield band director Jay Hagaman learned in late May that the southside high school would host a new drum corps this year, as one of the satellite housing sites for the eight corps competing in Metamora Wednesday night. The last two summers, WHS hosted The Spirit of Atlanta, another World Class drum corps from Georgia. This year, Spirit is not entered in the Metamora show so Wethersfield drew The Colts.
