Carolina Crown Drum Major’s Log: Stardate 11408.02

Less than seven days to go until finals and the last two days have been busy busy busy! Tonight we perform on the second day of DCI East at J. Birney Crum stadium here in Allentown, PA, and we are excited and ready after an awesome rehearsal day Friday.

The last time we wrote was just after the West Chester show on Wednesday night. Thursday was another Tour of Champions show, just like NightBEAT, but this one took place in Scarlet Knight Stadium at Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ. The stadium holds 54,000 people so, needless to say, it’s plenty big and the corps had to work extra hard to project the music to fans and judges.
