Test Drive Fundraiser Tops Up Scout House Tank

scout_house_100x100Test car drivers and other supporters topped up the Scout House financial tank with more than $2,000 in revenue during the recent Drive A Ford fundraiser for the Scout House Cadets and Band.

Ridgehill Ford Sales, 217 Hespeler Road, contributed $20 per driver for about 90 individuals who took a Ford product for a test drive during the event, based at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre, a reliable business partner for many Scout House Band activities. Extra revenue was earned at a barbecue and a donations jar at the registration table. The fund raising event included video displays, performances by the Cadets, recruiting activities for the whole Scout House Band organization and promotion of the 2014 Scout House Band Invitational Tattoo held in Waterloo August 9.
