blue_stars_100x100Q: Why is a new trailer needed?
A: Simply stated, the current trailer is not large enough to meet the efficient transportation needs of a 150-member drum corps and its current instrumentation. When it was built in 2006, the Blue Stars were 128 members. Now, the group is 150 members, including 16 tubas (instead of 12 in 2006) and other slight instrumentation changes. To accommodate the corps’ current needs and provide space for future changes, the new trailer will be the largest legally allowed in all dimensions: longest, highest, lowest, and widest.
