SCV Welcomes New 2015 Brass Staff Members Murphy And Criswell

The Vanguard is pleased to welcome Taylor Criswell and Shawn Murphy to the corps’ 2015 Brass staff.

Second Lieutenant Taylor Criswell currently serves as the Executive Officer with the US Army School of Music in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He previously served as a noncommissioned officer and euphonium player with the Army Materiel Command Band in Huntsville, Alabama, where he toured to Kuwait and UAE, and the Training and Doctrine Command Band in Newport News, Virginia. In 2013 he served as Junior Assistant Director for the world renown Virginia International Tattoo. Criswell has also performed as a member of the Virginia Symphony Chorus.
