2015 Govenaires Open House

govenaires_100x100If you’re looking for the most fun and flexible marching experience in Minnesota, come to the Govenaires Open House on January 17 and 18.

The weekend rehearsals will take place in St. Peter, Minnesota, starting with a 9:30 a.m. registration on Saturday at St. Peter High School (100 Lincoln Dr. St Peter, MN 56082).

The Govenaires are an all-age marching music ensemble that performs in parades and field shows during the summer. We offer flexible scheduling, inexpensive dues, and a fun atmosphere.

As part of the Drum Corps Associates (DCA) circuit, the Govenaires are ten-time finalists and three-time champions in Class A (2006, 2009 and 2011). Despite its competitive success, the corps takes pride in its unique brand of performance. Entertaining audiences has always been paramount to the Govenaires.

The season leads up to the DCA Championships, which take place Labor Day weekend in Rochester, New York.

Times, Locations, and General Information

  • Saturday, January 17th
    • 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (brass and colorguard)
    • 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. (percussion)
  • Sunday, January 18th
    • 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (all sections)
  • Brass and percussion rehearse at St. Peter High School both days

  • $20 registration fee
