In The News – Blue Stars Seeks $1,000 To Provide Free Clinics For Local Musicians

The La Crosse-based Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps wants to fulfill local youths’ wishes to play instruments and learn the craft of marching.

Youths such as Isaac List of Stoddard, who has been a member of the Blue Stars’ local All Star Band for three years.

“The coolest part is getting to meet other people from all over the country and see how they’ve been inspired to join the Blue Stars,” said List, a 15-year-old trumpet player and freshman at Central High School in La Crosse who also plays in the school band and other ensembles.
