In The News – Festival Of Brass To Feature 10 Bands

The North Iowa Festival of Brass will bring more than a thousand performers with 10 energetic, marching music ensembles to compete at Waldorf College’s Bolstorff Field at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1.

It will be the final competition before Drum Corps International World Championships from Aug. 4-8 in Indianapolis, Indiana, said Mary Ann Aslakson, executive director of North Iowa Music Arts & Pageantry Inc., the organization bringing the musicians to Forest City for the second summer in a row.
