The Spring Preview has become a much-anticipated mainstay of the indoor drum and bugle corps concert calendar and features some of the world’s best all-age competing and alumni corps in exhibition.

The concert will be the public’s first opportunity to hear the hometown and defending Drum Corps Associates world champion Reading Buccaneers, as the corps unveils its 2015 music program: Twist-It. The corps’ repertoire includes “Pagliacci,” by Ruggero Leoncavallo, “Palladio,” by Karl Jenkins, “Moonlight Sonata,” by Ludwig von Beethoven, “Going the Distance,” from “Rocky,” by Bill Conti, “William Tell Overture,” by Gioachino Rossini, and original music by Buccaneers designers Mark Lortz, Johnny Trujillo and Mike Lalli..

In addition to the Buccaneers, guests will be treated to performances by: The Reilly Raiders (Philadelphia, PA); The Skyliners (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA), The Selden Cadets (Long Island, NY), St. Rita’s Brassmen Alumni (Brooklyn, NY) and the Reading Buccaneer Alumni (Reading, PA).

In addition to the concert, the day presents a unique opportunity for drum corps aficionados to meet members from multiple corps and reconnect with old friends and many activity luminaries.

Reserved seats in the center section are $15 apiece, and general admission seats in the side areas are $13 apiece, and will be sold at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance via PayPal at www.readingbuccaneers.org or by sending a check payable to “The Spring Preview,” along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to The Spring Preview, 200 Columbia Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.
