White Sabers Announces Retirement Of Corps Director Leslie Amico

It is with mixed emotions that the White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps announces the retirement of our Corps Director, Leslie Amico, effective September 7, 2015.

Leslie has been involved with the White Sabers since the late 1990s, when the corps was an exhibition group performing in parades. When the White Sabers took the field in 2005, Leslie became the Business Manager. In just our second competitive season in DCA, Leslie had an instrumental role in leading the corps to our first DCA Class A Finals, achieving second place in 2006. Upon the retirement of our previous director, Mark Gerber, in 2008, Leslie stepped up to the plate to become Corps Director, and has been in the role ever since.
