In The News – Drum And Bugle Corps Competition Set For July 7

It’s been almost 15 years since such an event was performed in the Wausau area, but a Drum Corps International competition is slated to return to the region next week.

River City Rhapsody, a competition involving six different drum and bugle corps from all over the U.S., is scheduled for this Tuesday, July 7 at D.C. Everest Junior High School’s Stiehm Stadium. Each corps is made up of 150 young men and women, ages 14 to 21 years old, and consists of a hornline, drumline, front ensemble and colorguard.
