De León, Dalton, And Marquis Join 2016 Blue Stars Instructional Team

blue_stars_100x100The Blue Stars are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris De León as visual caption supervisor, and Greg Dalton and Roger Marquis as visual co-caption heads for the 2016 season. These talented educators bring a wealth of experience and talent to the Blue Stars, and join the returning guard, percussion, and brass caption heads in providing our students with an exciting, rewarding, and enjoyable season.

Christopher De León is entering his fourteenth year of teaching and fourth as a Director at The Leadership Conservatory for the Arts at Tarpon Springs High School. He was Director of the Paul J. Hagerty High School’s Band Program prior to joining the Conservatory staff. His responsibilities in the Leadership Conservatory include directing and instructing the Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos, Wind Ensemble II, Solo and Ensemble Coach, and teaching Freshman Leadership courses.
