2015 Madison Drum & Bugle Corps Association Annual Meeting Recap

The Madison Drum & Bugle Corps Association, Inc. (MDBCA) held its annual organizational meeting on Friday, November 6th in Madison, Wisconsin. With its 2015 fiscal year ending on October 31st, the results reported are preliminary and subject to audit.

The financial highlights of the year, as reported by Executive Director Chris Komnick, included:

Approximate $47.5K of net profit on operations
Increased event ticket sales by 36% from the previous year
Increased soft goods merchandise profit by $57K from the previous year
Increased instrument sales net profit by 52% from the previous year
Operational expenses $46K below the targeted budget
Reduced ongoing debt load by 14%
