thurrock_marching_brass_100x100Thurrock Marching Brass are thrilled that the members have elected Daniel Reynolds as their November 2015 Jack Petchey Achievement Award Winner.

Daniel, or ‘Dan the Man’ as he likes to be known has been an integral part of the marching percussion section for a number of years after first starting off as a trumpet player some four years ago. Daniel has demonstrated some incredible development over the time he has been with us, and is always willing to help his fellow members in any way that he can. His achievements as part of the band are many, which include two British Championship Silver Medals, two British Championship Gold Medals and an incredible top 5 finish at the European Championships in September just gone.

Daniel is one of our hardest workers, making sure that he plays his triple tenor drums as best he can at all times, and something very special about all of the many things that this young man has achieved is that Daniel was also diagnosed as Autistic, proving that with the right environment, encouragement and care, anything is achievable regardless of the challenges faced.

JP - November 2015 Winner

We are absolutely delighted for Daniel. Please join us all in congratulating him for this significant achievement.
