2016 Blue Stars Battery Experience Camp

Each year we have a large number of people who try out for the Blue Stars battery section, but are still developing the skills necessary to make the line. New this year, we are offering a Blue Stars Battery Experience Camp on January 22-24 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. This camp will be focused on developing the skills and techniques that make the Blue Stars battery one of the most thrilling, dynamic, and precise percussion sections in the marching arts.

The Battery Experience Camp is a separate track from the Blue Stars 2016 call-backs, but will still get the benefit of instruction by the Blue Stars’ percussion staff and the Blue Stars camp experience with equipment, housing, and meals provided. Additionally, everybody that attends the Blue Stars Battery Experience Camp will receive a special t-shirt and a pair of John Mapes signature snare sticks.
