Bluecoats/EN-RICH-MENT Partner On Drumline Academy

bluecoats_100x100The Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps, Inc. and EN-RICH-MENT, both Canton, Ohio based nonprofit youth-music education organizations, are excited to announce a new partnership to produce a drumline academy for underserved youth in their home county. This new program will provide world-class instruction in percussion and music education, providing life long lessons and experiences for the students who participate.

EN-RICH-MENT, co-founded in 2012 by longtime community leader Betty Smith, provides music, education, instruments, art, dance classes and voice classes free of charge to under-served urban youth ages 5 through 18 years. Students are offered high-level learning opportunities through classes in music theory, history of various genres of music, and musicianship. They also receive private/group lessons and rehearse and perform in concerts and community events.
