Carolina Crown Awarded Honor Band Grant

carolina_crown_100x100Carolina Crown is excited to partner with the York County Arts Commission in receiving a grant for the 2016 York County Honor Band. In tandem with Carolina Crown’s Partnership in Education, area middle school band students will participate in clinics and perform in concert next week at Winthrop University.

The more than 100 musicians of the York County Honor Band were selected this past December from over 300 applicants. The clinics will be held on Tuesday, January 26 and Wednesday, January 27 in Byrnes Hall on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Students will also perform in concert on Wednesday evening at 7pm. The concert is open to the public and free to attend.
