Field Band Foundation Chairman Takes Leave Of Absence
The board of the Field Band Foundation has accepted a request of Herman Mashaba to take a leave of absence as chairman – but remain a director – while he stands as a candidate in the 2016 Johannesburg municipal elections.
The Foundation’s vice-chairman Brian Gibson said: “We will miss Herman’s outstanding leadership but respect and admire the example of active citizenship he sets for our young members”.
