2016 Cadets2 January Rehearsal Report

cadets2_100x100Cadets2 held its first rehearsals of 2016 the weekend of Jan. 16-17 at Daniel Boone Area High School in Birdsboro, Pa., to the tunes of Pat Metheny, Joni Mitchel, and over 60 brass musicians.

“This weekend was really, really well attended,” said Rich Hammond, Director of Performing Ensembles for YEA! and The Cadets. “For January, over 60 brass is a landmark place for us to be in the evolution of C2. Frankly, in just a couple years, we’ve gone from taking just about anyone who walked in the door to having a true audition process,” he said.
