Carolina Crown Fan Performs On The Voice

carolina_crown_100x100Katie Basden has made it to the Live Rounds of The Voice on NBC. Her Voice and Talent got her there. Now she needs the help of TeamCROWN to give her a well deserved chance to compete. She performs Monday night, April 11, at 8/7C on NBC.

At 15, Katie found her passion for music when she learned to play guitar and began writing songs. She moved to Nashville to attend college at Belmont University where she found local success with her original music.

Shortly after graduation, Katie’s father developed health issues requiring open-heart surgery. Realizing the gravity of the situation, she moved home to be with her family. Katie’s father has since improved, and she is ready to pick up her music career where she left off.
