In The News – Popular Drum And Bugle Corps Returns To Richland Township For Spring Training

Chords of brass with the accompanying rhythm of the drum line have returned to the Richland Township hilltop.

The Cadets nationally ranked drum and bugle corps is holding its annual spring training at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and F.W. Herlinger Field at Richland High School.

It is the eighth spring training in Johnstown since 2008 for The Cadets, who compete each summer with Drum Corps International’s world class. The consecutive string was interrupted last year by the high school’s turf replacement, sending the corps to Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
