Bluecoats Seeking Prop Intern For 2016 Summer Tour

The Bluecoats are seeking a prop intern to reside with the corps for the remainder of Spring Training and the entirety of the 2016 DCI Summer Tour. The successful candidate will have experience in stage management, stage or prop construction and maintenance, and/or touring and logistics management. Drum corps experience is not required but highly recommended.

Each year Bluecoats sets its sights high in the hopes of creating a stage fit for modern drum corps and this year is no different. The goal is to find a candidate with an extraordinary work ethic willing to accomplish a myriad of tasks related to prop maintenance, modification, and problem solving. Also, candidates must be 21 years of age or older. The position will also oversee and manage the unloading, assembly, loading, and daily care procedures for the props. This position will work closely with the Audio Systems intern to ensure all elements of the Bluecoats’ set operate efficiently and cohesively.
