In The News – Navarro College Welcomes Guardian Drum And Bugle Corps

New sounds hit the Navarro College Corsicana campus June 26 when the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps arrived, a competing unit of Drum Corps International. Navarro College will host the 136-member corps through July 20, and you may spot them rehearsing the show the Corps will take on tour to other cities in Texas, and ultimately to Iowa, Wisconsin and Indiana this summer.

The highlight of the visit will be the Corps’ performance at the Rotary Club Freedom Fest on Monday, July 4, and the community and Navarro College are also invited to attend the Corps send-off performance before the Texas Tour on July 20 (time and place to be announced).
