In The News – Drum Corps Competition Comes To Oskaloosa

Drum Corp is an organized nationwide competition for band students junior high to college age where they organize full band shows and compete for judges from city to city.

This week it has come to Oskaloosa to take place Wednesday evening at the Lacey Complex. As a representative from William Penn put it, “Drum Corp is to band competitions what the Chicago Cubs are to the Iowa Cubs. This is a nationwide thing. There are around 150 competitions in a season.”
