In The News – Fusion Core Bests All Competitors In Drum Corps In Pa., Travels To Md.

Hometown Fusion Core bested all competitors and swept all caption awards in the season-opening drum corps contest held at Dallas, Pa. recently.

“We’re thrilled with the win against some tough competition and especially the spread in the scores,” said Core Director Holly Marino of the six-point gap between Fusion and their nearest rival.

Drum majors Adam Tharp, Mike Kettleberger, and Kyle DeFranco picked up the trophies for first place, High Brass, High Percussion, and Best Color Guard as the “Core” scored a season high 77.20.
