Bridgemen Color Guard Takes Home Gold At Championships

Rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated, as these members of the Bridgemen Color Guard prove, displaying the gold medals that they won at the Drum Corps Associates Championships held in Rochester, NY over the Labor Day weekend.

After years of doing exhibitions at the non-competitive alumni event of this three day festival, the guard dipped their toe in the competitive waters and received rave reviews from the adjudication panel and all in attendance.

The Bridgemen mini corps also brought the house down with their competitive program. In a tough field of ensembles that hailed from California to New Jersey, the Bridgemen ended up third in their grouping.

The guard and the mini corps will continue to operate as part of the Bridgemen Performing Arts Company which will begin at their open house on October 30th. Other ensembles will include a percussion ensemble and, of course, DoubleB Independent Color Guard.
