Percussion Head, Mr. Tyrell Carver from our 2011, 2012, 2013 seasons returns for the 2017 Season. For the past few years he has been working along with Dave Edwards with the highly successful White Sabers D.C.A. Corps from White Sabers, New York.

Tyrell lives in the Rochester, New York area, once in the past a hot spot of drum corps in the East. He was a performer in the Patriots Corps, the Rochester Crusaders, and earned a DCA World Championship Ring with the 1997 Empire Statesmen of New York.

Presently, Mr. Carver works for the Rochester, New York School District as well as Webster and Dundee High School drumlines. He also is the Assistant Youth Director of the Cameron Community Ministry. We are all very pleased that Tyrell’s skills and enthusiasm are once again available to the Pioneer Corps

RETURNING STAFF:
Pioneer is proud to announce that Mr. Josh Pier is returning as our Visual Caption Head for his 6th Season. So far his 2017 Visual Technical Staff includes:

  • Ms Kim Gorey (Pioneer Alumnus in her 4th Season)
  • Mr. Jimmy Mutchie (His 2nd Season)
  • Mr. Cameron Miller (His 2nd Season specializing in Percussion Visual)
