thurrock_marching_brass_100x100Thurrock Marching Brass is delighted to confirm that the November 2016 winner for the Jack Petchey Achievement Award goes to Kiera Tyler.

Kiera has been an exceptional member since joining Thurrock Marching Brass a short while ago and has excelled in all areas of the Colourguard. Kiera has shown outstanding character this year and has given her all at every performance and show. She always has a smile on her face and shows kindness in all that she does.

Her abilities to perform go beyond her young age and this achievement award also shows how much the members think of her and we are delighted for her on so many levels for being selected by them.

Speaking of the award, Corps Director, Jay Lindner commented “There were four incredible finalists for the November 2016 Jack Petchey Achievement Award and all of them have demonstrated very high abilities in so many areas. I am delighted for all of them but especially for Kiera who has been one of our more consistent members for showing the right attitude to learn and to help others. The members have clearly shown just how much they think of Kiera, and I hope that she enjoys every second of this very well deserved recognition. Congratulations Kiera!”
