2017 Battalion Lead Designer To Present At UMEA

The Battalion’s 2017 Design Coordinator and Front Ensemble Caption Head, Shilo Stroman, is slated to present at the Utah Music Educators Professional Development Conference this Friday, February 3 at 9:45 am in the Garden Room at the Dixie Convention Center in St. George, Utah.

Stroman’s session will tackle “The Modern Front Ensemble” and is aimed at band directors and percussion instructors. Topics will include ensemble setups, mallet choices, instructional techniques/exercises and sound design. Attendees will leave with the knowledge and confidence to start a successful modern front ensemble from the ground up.
