2017 Boston Crusaders March Camp Update & Spring Preview

The Boston Crusaders brass and percussion assembled at Lakewood Ranch, FL this past weekend and continued the intense 2017 preparation. The commitment of the members and staff with the steady camp preparation was obvious. Attendance was excellent for the brass with over 70 in attendance and fierce competition for single mellophone and baritone spots. The front ensemble and battery attendance was solid despite a heavy WGI schedule this weekend.

The brass learned another 1:30 of music as well as the ”Encore” tune. Over 9 minutes of 2017 show music has been learned. Brass arranger/composer Ryan George was on hand again to evaluate and craft the remaining 90 seconds with Colin McNutt and Keith Potter. The brass book will be complete and delivered to the brass by the end of this week.
