Spirit U Registration Now Open

| |

Spirit of Atlanta is now accepting online registration for Spirit U – our brand new marching music educational camp for students and adults. Spirit U will feature an impressive lineup of educators who will lead this 3-day camp experience for students interested in learning and growing in the marching, playing and leadership abilities. Led by renowned music educator Gary Gribble, the instructional staff includes many well-known teachers with history teaching both for Spirit of Atlanta and for successful scholastic band programs around the area. Mike Back, Dr. Andy Poor, John Cypert, Dr. Josh Byrd, Jen Karp, and Mikey Cowan are among those leading student courses at Spirit U. The campers will gain valuable hands-on experience in playing their instruments, modern marching band movement, physical fitness, performing as an ensemble, and being a mature leader in band programs. At times, they will be rehearsing alongside the current performing members of Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps, and will join together with Spirit to end the camp with a public Preview Show performance. It’s a thrilling experience for young musicians to share the spotlight with today’s World-Class DCI performers.
