In The News – Hard ‘Corps’: River City Rhythm Hosts Drum And Bugle Camp For Dedicated Musicians

They’re counted in, then they’re springing into action, taking on a variety of strange poses with brass instruments in hand.

This is not your average band camp.

The students in this scenario are campers at the River City Rhythm Drum & Bugle Corps camp at Rocori High School. According to corps executive director Beau Hansen, the group of dedicated musicians compete in Minnesota and throughout the Midwest during the summer, culminating in an August appearance at the Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships in Indianapolis.
