Michigan City High School student Courtney Hart has been playing the trumpet since he was 14-years-old and knew little about music when he started.
Three years later, he helped Legends, a drum and bugle corps team from Kalamazoo, Michigan, take home third place during the Drum Corps International Open Class World Championship on Tuesday night at Ames Field with a score of 77.25.
