New Jersey Hall Of Fame Inducts 10

Ten new members of the New Jersey Drum Corps Hall of Fame were inducted at their annual banquet on Oct. 7. The new members are:

  • Brad Coleman — Skyliners
  • Mary & Cal Denniston – Colleens
  • John Drummond – National Judges Association
  • Ed Hayes, Sr. – Bushwackers
  • Bob Jimenez – St. Vincent’s Cadets
  • Michael Mercadante – Hawthorne Muchachos
  • Ray Peters – Skyliners
  • Pat Petrillo – Bayonne Bridgemen
  • Debbie Yaniga – Hawthorne Caballeros

The banquet, held at the Knights of Columbus in Avenel, NJ, was attended by 188 people. Entertainment was provided by the Audubon Bon-Bons Chorus, conducted by John “Duke” Terreri. The inductees were presented by Ron Bonadonna, chairman of the Hall, and each was awarded a plaque and a pin.

This was the 20th induction ceremony for NJDCHOF. All inductees must be nominated with a form that is posted on their web site at http://www.njdchof.com.

The induction banquet is held each year on the first Saturday of October.
