Hawthorne Caballeros Appoint Gloria Pennell As Historian

The Hawthorne Caballeros are proud to announce Gloria Pennell as the Hawthorne Caballeros’ Historian!

Gloria is 100% Hawthorne in that she spent her first three years marching with the Hawthorne Muchachos in 1971, 1972 (color guard captain), and 1973 (color guard captain). In 1982, she joined the Hawthorne Caballeros as one of the organization’s first female members. She stayed with the Caballeros through the 1990 season. In 2007, she returned the Caballeros family by joining the Caballeros Alumni color guard and has been with the corps since!
