Introducing Battalion’s 2018 Drum Majors

The Battalion’s 2018 drum majors were selected at the corps’ January and February Audition Events in Utah. Get to know a little bit more about them!

Andy Blomfelt (Head Drum Major)

????Andy Blomfelt is a second year music composition and computer science student at Colorado State University, studying with Dr. James M. David. His concert music has been premiered by the CSU Middle School Outreach Ensemble, The Loveland Orchestra, The Pikes Peak Philharmonic, The Quarthot Quartet, and various chamber ensembles at CSU, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Indiana University. In addition to serving as head drum major for the 2018 season, Andy has also served as assistant drum major for The Battalion in 2016 and 2017.
