Anger Over Showband Training

The Showband Rastede will probably no longer train on the sports field on the Mühlenstraße this season. A training camp scheduled for last weekend had to be relocated to the sports field in Wapeldorf at short notice after discussions with the local council.

Two more training sessions planned in Rastede have already shifted the show band to places in Westerholtsfelde and Wilhelmshaven. It is still unclear whether a training weekend scheduled for August in Rastede may take place. “So far we have not heard anything,” says Showband Chairman Carsten Helms.
