Some time ago, Samuel Crawford adopted a mantra that he has repeated many times as he takes the field as a member of the Canton Bluecoats.
It’s something the Bluecoats drum major has told fellow corps members often: “We didn’t come here to win, but we didn’t come here to lose.”
