The recently formed Great Lakes Brass Alliance (GLBA) is in the process of finalizing plans for an inaugural indoor show in western New York, tentatively scheduled for May 11, 2019. The date and location will be confirmed in the near future.

Great Lakes Brass Alliance member groups include the Hamburg Kingsmen Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps., Mighty St. Joe’s Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps from Leroy New York, St. Joe’s of Batavia Brass Ensemble, Northcoast Brass Company of Erie, Pennsylvania, Silver Leaves Brass and Preston Scout House Band of Cambridge, Ontario.

The primary purpose of GLBA is to provide entertainment in a venue suitable to the size and type of participating organizations, including groups that use brass instruments, percussion, working and honor color guards. GLBA also aims to conduct marketing efforts for the benefit of members and to support member groups participating in GLBA shows or planning to run their own shows.
