Blue Knights Winds Announce 2019 Show: A “Little” Variation

For their inaugural season, the Blue Knights Winds are proud to present our own interpretation on what a Winds program can be with our program entitled: a “little” variation.

Music evokes movement. A subtle motif and a delicate step. A grand sustain and sweeping, reaching, extended arms. A release, a breath, and a leap. As our musical themes evolve, so too must our visual expression. Using Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Little” fugue in G-minor as our foundation, our program is an expression on how music and movement are intimately linked, and how as one changes so must the other.
