Spirit U Receives Grant Funding, Offers Scholarships

Spirit U – the 3-day summer camp for marching band students is back for its 3rd year. It’s a transformative weekend for students who work on a variety of skills: from marching and movement to leadership development – and enjoy the chance to perform with members of Spirit of Atlanta. Participants of Spirit U leave the camp not only as better performers, but as members of the Spirit of Atlanta family. Unfortunately, for some students, the ability to attend Spirit U’s enriching experience can be financially challenging. However, thanks to a new grant to Spirit of Atlanta from the Georgia Music Foundation, select underprivileged students will receive scholarships to attend this unforgettable camp and experience what the experience of drum corps is all about.
