The Seattle Cascades are pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Leone as Cascades Corps Director and Lewis Norfleet as Program Coordinator.

Michael Leone is a six-year alumnus of the Cascades and was a member of the Visual Staff from 2000-2002. Most recently he served as the Director of the Oregon Crusaders where he led the corps to a DCI Division III Championship in 2004 and Division II Finalist Status in 2005 and 2006

Lewis Norfleet served as the Cascades brass arranger from 2000-2003, where he helped lead the corps to its first ever appearance in DCI Finals in 2002.

“We’re thrilled to have Mike and Lewis back with us,” says Mike Bujnowski, himself recently selected as the new President of the Cascades Board of Directors. “Both have enormous talent and the kind of dedication that comes from being part of our organization’s heritage. And we’re all very grateful to Steve Baretich, who served ably during the past few months as Director on an interim basis and continues as a Board Member and officer.”

Caption heads will be hired over the next week, and technicians will be completed the following week.
