Troopers January Camp Report

The Troopers completed their third camp of the 2007 season, January 19-21st in Cheyenne, WY. Camp activities were curtailed on Sunday by yet another Rocky Mountain snow storm. Before the corps departed Cheyenne, it was agreed that the corps met its goals for the weekend.

The brass section had a very strong turn-out with all but a small hand-full of students in attendance. In all, 61 brass members were present at the Cheyenne camp. The brass line was able to unwrap their new Yamaha brass instruments for the first time. All but the new Xeno trumpets were present; they are still in production and are expected to arrive in early February.
