Connecticut Hurricanes Sweep St. Patricks Day Parade Awards

| |

The Connecticut Hurricanes had the luck of the Irish on their side as they kicked off the 2007 campaign by winning the Grand Marshals Award in New Haven, Ct. on March 11. This marked the debut performance of the Hurcs new Dynasty percussion line and with 9 snares, 5 base, and 4 quads this line looks to be vastly improved this coming DCA season. The following weekend the Hurricanes were awarded the best senior drum and bugle corps award in Holyoke, Mass despite the cold weather and over a foot of snow that hit the Northeast. The corps has recieved their shipment of new Dynasty horns and will be using them for the first time at this weeks rehearsals. The Hurricanes have a new attitude this year and will field their largest corps in recent years so post the storm warnings now and be ready for the "New" Ct. Hurricanes.
